So Divine
(Verse 1)
In the stillness of the night, I closed my eyes so tight,
A vision of a world, beyond the mortal sight.
I saw a stairway to the sky, where angels dared to fly,
To see the face of God, in the Spirit, so high.
(Chorus)
Oh, the wonder of ascending, to the heavens so divine,
Where eternity's a promise, and the stars forever shine.
In the cup of Communion, immortality we find,
And in Jesus, our salvation, we leave our fears behind.
(Verse 2)
With every sip of sacred wine, I felt my soul unwind,
The bread of life, a taste of grace, a love of a different kind.
A glimpse of endless life, in every drop and bite,
In the Communion's embrace, we see the eternal light.
(Chorus)
Oh, the wonder of ascending, to the heavens so divine,
Where eternity's a promise, and the stars forever shine.
In the cup of Communion, immortality we find,
And in Jesus, our salvation, we leave our fears behind.
(Bridge)
And as I reached the highest stair, I saw a world so fair,
Where God's love had no bounds, and His mercy filled the air.
He whispered words of hope, that all mankind might hear,
"Come, my children, to my side, I'll wipe away your tears."
(Verse 3)
No more darkness, no more pain, no more tears to cry,
For in the arms of Jesus, every soul can learn to fly.
The broken and the lost, the weary and the blind,
Just cry out to our Savior, and in Him, salvation find.
(Chorus)
Oh, the wonder of ascending, to the heavens so divine,
Where eternity's a promise, and the stars forever shine.
In the cup of Communion, immortality we find,
And in Jesus, our salvation, we leave our fears behind.
(Outro)
So let us lift our voices high, and let our hearts entwine,
For in the wonder of God's love, all of mankind will shine.
In the Spirit, in Communion, in Jesus, we'll confide,
And together, in His grace, we'll journey side by side.
